For I really cannot wait for next Saturday! It’s like what we’ve been practicing for for weeks and to think that it’s next week man! Yepp, percussion performance is next Saturday at Suntec Convention Hall. I really hope all of us will do a great job and not screw up especially when it comes to the number of times to play each beat. This is what we’ve been heading to and it’s in less than a week’s time. Really excited (: and we must give it all we’ve got!

I really love my drum school, the people, the teacher, the atmosphere. They’re all damn talented and freaking funny. Take the previous lesson for example, we learnt Jimmy Eat World’s The Middle which is quite nice and fun to play. Then we learnt MCR’s Cancer. It’s such a simple song yet we can’t even perfect it. Julia can play the bridge, she can’t play the chorus. I can play the chorus but not the bridge. She’s more audio, i’m more visual. How many more ‘opposites’ do we have man? Then after lesson, Julia attempted to tell a joke to Fandy (or is it Fendi?) related to Rain. I guess it’s cause the other time we were making fun of Rain as well and his retarded ad or something like that. The joke: you can blindfold Rain with a rubber band. Get it? I guess not for Fandy. He was like all huh? And i was laughing like an idiot. Attempted to explain to him but he was still blur. Finally me and Julia just left and he was like ‘i want an explaination’ but we just ignored him and walked out. Omg, seriously hilarious.
Then Julia and i has this retarded habit to sign off each other’s name as loser/asshole/moron/idiot. So i was going to sign mine and realised Julia wrote loser on behalf of me last week so i shouted asshole at her. Then we started shouting vulgarities at each other then Zu was like ‘haiyo, kids nowadays’. The way he said it was freaking funny we just burst out laughing. That’s just like a 1/10 of my set of reasons why i like my drum school so much that i travel to Novena every freaking Sat just for drums which is pretty far for me.

Just saw the results for the F1 in Jap. Things really are unpredictable in such races. Hamilton started first, ended up 12th and Alonso won again. Madness but there seems to be so much more drama than in SGP, wished there was more excitement in SGP, i mean, i wanna see them crash and burn, not that i'm mean/evil blah blah blah but won't that be more fun than see cars racing by repeatedly?


This might be a little random but i’ve been thinking about it quite a bit. You know in some shows/cartoons they always ask someone else: if i could grant you 3 wishes, what would it be? I don’t know why, i’ve been thinking about it lately. What would you wish for? So many factors come into place with this question. Would you wish for wealth/beauty/happiness/etc? Whoever that came up with this question, i was wondering if it was meant to be a test. You can actually kinda judge a person’s character through their answer. People could give materialistic answers, unselfish answers, self-centered answers, many different answers. At first you might want all the riches of the world, but if you think deeper, if you only had a choice of only 3, would you want to say money, money and more money? Yeah true, money might seem to fulfil every dream you’ve ever dreamed of but i doubt you can actually feel accomplished in your whole life if you just want wealth, you’re gonna feel pretty empty soon. I have no idea how i’m going to end this so i’m just gonna stop there, leaving some space for thought.
