WWRY CLOSING NIGHT TODAY!

OMG I CANNOT CANNOT BELIEVE IT'S BLOODY TODAY! It's so bloody friggin' sad to think about it. For the past few months from the time i caught WWRY accidentally till now! It's all ending in less than 24 hours time! OMG!

I'm going to miss Mig as Gaz, Sivan as Scara, Neels as Khashoggi, Annie as KQ, Malcolm as Pop, Stephen as Vic, Carly as Oz and all the other cast members! band members! AHHHHHHHHHHH. Super sad, really really super super sad.

Thinking about their closing, im sure all of them will be so emotional. Normally it's like closing of one country, but they'll see each other in less than a month's time. But this time, after Bangkok, it's totally different. As they all come from all over the place, most of them from South Africa, and the rest from all over, it'll be hard for all of them to meet up. SIGH

Had a stayover at nyc from Fri till Sat to complete up Flowers in the Desert, nyc's very first production. The stayover was really fun and i got to know other ppl better

From Fri
2130- met up with Rachel and Wendy and headed to nyc. Julia was late. Relaxed for a while and all

0030- should be around this time, started setting up the background and layout.

0230- finally done setting up, pulling the wooden planks for the disgusting place which was filled with ants and who knows what

0245- started on the rehearsels! Slowly ppl were knocked down. Super funny to watch. But the rehearsels were pretty fun to watch too.

0530- finally headed to bed cause couldnt tahan already but the cast were still practising

0900- woke up blah blah blah had breakfast etc and prepared for the very first show at 2. I was the photographer, used this Canon d40 cam, the one Julia has. Super fun to take pictures when they were acting.

1630- first show was over! It was such a success and i thought it was nice, acting was definitely good, bits here and there were so hilarious! Everyone was so moved to tears, and i really mean everyone. Not going to say much, ppl who went will know what im talking abt

1800- second show started, problems cropped up but were solved. Not going to say much here as well

2030- both shows were finally over! 2 reporters from ST came, i think they seems pretty impressed? I dunno. But 2nd show was seriously funny, actors actually this time improvised quite a bit but it was really hilarious

2045- debriefing and packing up. Quite missed the stayover. It was really fun though we stayed up till so late

So finally we went home. I finally realised Cineleisure is like a total spot for smoking. From late night till morning, people are just over there smoking it's so stinky and gross.

Looking forward to other productions! Next up! the percussion thing this coming Sat! (:

YAY! Finally watched Batman today. I think it's super nice though it's still 2nd behind POTC and Sweeney when it comes to movies. The rest thought it was too long adn draggy but i sooo do not think so. If a movie's too short like 1.30 hrs, it can't develope the plot properly in my opinion. I like watching long movies!

So here's what else i wanna catch
1) Prom night
2) Red Cliff
3) The Mummy
4) X Files

And why i think Batman is nice?
1) Heath did a bloody good job acting as joker, scared the shit out of me
2) Though some actors weren't the main in there, i think they could act really well like the schizo working for the joker in a short scene
3) It's really like gross too like for those who watched, the phone sewn up in the stomach, and when it rang, it blew! so sick! And like when the joker tells his victim how he got his scar( the one on his face in a shape of a smile), super sick and scary.

Ok i've no time to rattle off more

will post soon! i hope. but who cares, blog's dead, super busy to care about this.

The whole cast, blur pic though

I'm totally blown away by the vocals in this year's musical. Seriously good! My seniors were seriously good and Delane Foo! your vocals are like djkghadigohai in a good way man! So i guess i underestimated this musical's standard.

the only thing im upset about is that so much priority was given to the musical that LD had no proper place for CCA and there waas last min cancellation involved, how bad was it? my trainer just opposite my school when he found out about it. You tell me? How bad is that!

On Sat after NYC (which was fun once agan), planned to actually go home immediately with Julia but whadayaknow, there was this DrumFest event just held outside NYC at the stage area there, it was like this competition between drummers and there were side challenges too like WFD ( world's fastest drummer), both hand and feet if you get what i mean. Super cool. The Drumfest shirt was really cool i couldnt resist cause i always wanted a shirt with a drumset pic so i got it (: Got a few videos too but not too good quality cause it was taken with my phone.

at 1.16, listen to the drum roll! he used like one hand only! and played like double stroke speed! omg! cant tell from vid but he's really expressive when he plays. lol

and Natalie won tickets for SINGfest! that lucky girl can't get much luckier! Really excited cause i can meet Grace and her again!

Listening compre was fine, thank goodness it wasnt hard. now 2 more to go! compo and paper in nov

It has been such a super duper long time since i posted. Alot happened, dont wanna go into detail. I can't even remember what happened these few days.

O level oral was fine! I was super happy it was a question for convo that i could speak properly and hardly stutter whatsoevever.

saw a rainbow in class a few days ago. So i quickly took a pic with my phone. It faded really fast.

The next few pics are taken in pea toh's place. it's about pea and tricia going nuts while watching the mcr dvd and they wanted to take a pic with gerard on the screen so they posed and waited for him to appear then paused.

G got Abigial to come in to talk to us while in NYC. She's super funny, her actions are super big. Got selected for the percussion thing! Quite exciting and because of this, i'll finally get my shirt! YAY! so exciting but Julia was like infinity times more excited than me she was practically going nuts!

Went to the Gramophone warehouse sale today, ended up for interested in the posters and foam boards they had. Managed to get a Sweeney Todd poster! I'm super happy and there was this huge WWRY board! Nat almost got it but some other guy supposedly reserved it first, so sad but nvm! The stuff from HK is coming ssssoooooonnnn! I can't wait!

Just came back from Plaza Sing after watching the 987 organised event to show MCR's The Black Parade Is Dead DVD. Thanks Grace once again for giving me and Pea the tickets. i hope Pea didn't scare you too much, she's like that once she gets high especially over MCR.

Had alot alot of fun and Shan and Ros were there too! How awesome is that! Got pics and their autographs. Ros and Shan really noticed Pea cause of her screaming and shouting and loud voice. Ros was like 'that girl, in the school u with the ____ belt", super hilarious so she won herself a limited edition MCR thing. Rosalind won one for herself too!

I had alot of fun. 987 booked Cinema 5 but the people were not that fun. Only the back ppl ( which was us) and the front people were screaming and jumping to MCR's songs. It was really fun and i had loads of fun though if you think of it, we're just screaming and shouting to a screen. I was like jumping to Famous Last Words and i was so tired after that. I have no idea how Ros, Grace and Pea were like jumping and standing through the entire thing from around 7 till about 815 plus. Anyway today was Fun! Fun! Fun!

So now i think i can consider myself an MCR fan already? I used to think they suck and stuff but after watching their performance, their songs are quite good, only that Mama is a lil freaky. But all the headbanging, they're so into the music it's just awesome. Gonna grab their dvd soon!

Must hold it prominently so teachers and prefects can see. WE'RE GOING BACK TO PRIMARY 1! so lame. Anyway, so back to the announcement he made

JUST HEARD SHE LOVED ON 987! NAT REQUESTED FOR THAT!
I think just hearing it on radio is really nice, knowing there are many others listening to the radio and they'll discover this song.

I wish it'll hit the charts but a little hard i think because Mig's music aint exactly mainstream and people tend to like mainstream bands more. Last time chevonne used to tell me she hates mainstream music which i think she still does and those underground music's nicer. Now, i understand why and i'm starting to feel the same too. Think SYNTHESIZED POP!
