When i went to Esplanade earlier on, alot of memories just came back. All WWRY memories, from the point where i first saw the bloody good performance, going to the stage door to meet the cast till WWRY HK. Earlier on i mentioned in my previous post it wasn't as good as WWRY because i think WWRY actually set my standard i will always be expecting for musicals.
And the show i went to catch earlier on didn't really receive a stading ovation. Not that i'm putting this show down so i guess Singaporeans really don't give standing ovations unless they think it's really good aye? Only a few caucasians stood up around the front row. And so WWRY got a standing ovation almost every performance or even every performance! Get what i'm trying to say?
WWRY Bangkok! YES! I really really want to go there! I can't remember if i mentioned this before but this
IS their last asian stop which is so super sad. Every time when i go meet the cast and talk to Sivan and Mig it feels really nice because you just feel so comfortable it feels like you're talking to your friend instead of a fan-idol thing. It's really sad.
WWRY has influenced me to start having a dislike for synthesized pop. Think Timbaland, yes he might be good in mixing tracks but it's all computer generated! Imagine him without a computer, ha! he'll be nowhere. What happened to last time where music was made with instruments and not just your hands and you staring at a computer! I don't think music should ever work this way. What if it really happens like in WWRY! That there will be someday, where there will not be a need for instruments anymore because everything can be mixed and matched using just this computer software. Don't you think it's scary?! Real music will
DIE So i really admire all bands out there.
Anyway i want to be involved in theatre/acting/musicals/performing next time. This i know for sure (:
