Today was mee sports day and it was the worst in my entire life! I ran the 2x200m race with my partner Xing Jie. We were up against very fast runners and knew there was no more hope of getting the trophies anymore. I was pretty nervous and had butterflies in my stomach but not as many as on the day of the heats. Everytime i heard the sound of the horn it would make me very nervous. Our heat was the event 21 and were almost bored to death until we were getting ready for our race. We had to wait under to hot scorching Sun.
Finally, it was our turn to run our race.I was the 2nd runner and sadly, i was competing against all the fast runners. My partner was running 1st and she managed to be 2nd when she handed me the baton but i started up too fast a and ended up with no energy to sprint. I actually could become 7th at least but the last runner started to run faster and me getting slower because i had no more energy. Well, but at least my group did not blame me cause they also got last for the 4x100m relay race.
So that is all for sports day.The next sports day would be in a secondary school already...
