On Saturday,9th April... i went to watch Sound of Music with my sister, father and aunty. The tickets were sponsored by a bank.The tickets cost over $100 each but it was very interesting.The props were very realistic and it was very detailed.It must have taken them a long time to do the props.I liked it when they had to change scenes.The props either go up or go backwards to lets the new scene come in. They had a intermission of 20 minutes and we could go collect drinks.
There were many people there and i thought i saw my old classmate there. There were 7 children there ..... Gretl, louisa, liesl, friedrich, kurt ,brigitta and elsa. I like Gretl as she is very cute especially her voice. They had to perform for about 2 hours and they still could say out their lines so well. They must have practice for a long,long time.
before the musical, we went to have dinner at the esplanade and my sister had a stomach ache. As a result, she drank 2 and a half cup of warm water. In the middle of the musical my sister wanted to go to the toilet as she was very urgent but she did not say until she started crying then she went to the toilet.(so funny lor)
But still, i enjoyed the musical a lot but sometimes when the nuns sang so loudly, it is kinda of sharp. I was told that even though the tickets were so expensive, they were all sold out. So in short, i enjoyed it a lot.
