For one whole week i didn't touch the computer! Seriously, it's a total record for me. And i don't understand why everything much clash, first it was common tests with Olympics, now it's EOYs with F1. Boo.

Anyway i'm going for the F1 thing on Sunday! Super happy and i hope i'll get good shots though i think it's almost impossible cause the cars will go super fast.
So for many days i didn't come on the com and i received several pieces of good news.

We're very happy to announce that we will be releasing a new DVD titled Read Between The Lines on November 4th!
The DVD is over 100 minutes long, features 10 live performances from our recent Soundtrack of Your Summer tour, tells our story from the very beginning of the band up to us headlining Tsongas Arena in our hometown (what an amazing feeling!!), and includes interviews with all the members (not to mention all our stupid off-stage antics!).

Johnny Depp will star in a fourth 'Pirates of the Caribbean' movie.
The actor - who won fans worldwide with his performance as the drunk, bearded pirate in the Disney film franchise - will reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow, Walt Disney Studios chairman Dick Cook confirmed yesterday (24.09.08).
However, Johnny is unlikely to be joined by his former co-star Keira Knightley - who played Elizabeth Swann in the first three films.
When recently asked if she would ever consider doing another 'Pirates of the Caribbean film', Keira said: 'I think it was wonderful and an amazing opportunity and those films were just extraordinary and I was extremely lucky to be a part of them. But no. I think my pirating days may be over.'
Speaking at a Disney press conference at Los Angeles' Kodak Theater, Cook also revealed Johnny will star as the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton's big screen adaptation of Lewis Carroll's children's novel 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' and in an adaptation of US TV show 'The Lone Ranger'.
Johnny - who took to the stage dressed as Jack Sparrow wearing a Lone Ranger mask - will play the masked hero's Native American sidekick Tonto in the movie, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.

Wish Olando and Kiera acted in it again. Read somewhere that POTC4's plot will be focusing on Barbossa and Jack only :( Saddening but at least there's a fourth one!

So everything's down except for Bio and Art. Seriously, i've been studying so much it's like the most ive ever studied in my entire life, well except for PSLE but that's a totally different thing. 2 more days i'm i'm gonna switch to full play mode (: Tues going to HuiLin's house to crash her house after Art and play guitar heroes. Wed gonna head down to Seoul Garden with Mel's clique to kinda celebrate WenHui's birthday. So exciting!

Many artists are like coming down to Singapore lately. Kanye West is on the 29th Oct, still deciding if i should go cause it's pretty ex and like sistic said approx time is only 75 mins which is a friggin ripoff. Then Avenged Sevenfold on the 26th Oct, Lifehouse on the 4th Oct. So many.

Oh man, i really have been leaving my blog alone these days. There's so much going on, really alot and alot clashing events and it's really killing me. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE ANNOYING EOYS TO BE OVER fullstop.

Nothing exciting happened so far, nothing much to talk about just that exams are coming in a little more than a week's time and yet, i can't study. Seriously can't study at all! There's something wrong with me man! Or maybe my brain's just used to a llllllllllooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggg break before exams/tests again but this time it's really fast.

I really feel like quitting art. I thought it used to be fun and all but it's turning out all wrong. I don't have the patience to do the coursework and prep work and all that, it's too time consuming. And i see all the almost-done-up-finale-pieces by the Sec 4s, it's really insane. I can't do that kinda work.

ANYWAY! JOHNNY DEPP IS THE NEW RIDDLER FOR THE NEW BATMAN MOVIE! HOW BLOODY AWESOME IS THAT! SERIOUSLY! IT'S SO GONNA ROCK! So i couldn't help but resist pasting the whole article here (:

It’s one of the biggest — and most hotly debated — questions in fandom…which actors (and characters) will director Christopher Nolan enlist as a villain for his third “Batman” film? Rumors have abounded since the release of “The Dark Knight,” and Nolan has remained fiercely tight-lipped. But now, has one of his main players revealed some of the biggest casting news of the decade?

In an interview with MTV News conducted just hours ago at the Toronto Film Festival, Michael Caine — there to promote “Is There Anybody There?” — seemed to confirm rumors that the next installment of the “Batman” film franchise will feature two very well-known names playing the roles of The Riddler and the Bumbershoot Bandit, The Penguin. “They’ve already got them in mind,” said Caine, when asked who he’d like to see take up arms against the Caped Crusader. “It’s Johnny Depp as The Riddler. And The Penguin is Philip Seymour Hoffman. I read it in the paper.”

So Caine is like the rest of us, reading gossip in the tabloids, right? Except for one thing…according to the actor, he confirmed the news through the studio itself.

“When Christopher [Nolan] said we were going to do ‘The Dark Knight’ next, I didn’t what that meant in Batman terms,” related Caine, who plays Bruce Wayne’s loyal butler, Alfred Pennyworth. “I said, ‘What’s the story?’ and he said The Joker. I said, ‘Oh, s–t! How are you going to top Jack [Nicholson]?’ He said, ‘Well, I’ve cast Heath Ledger. And I went ‘Ha! I couldn’t top Jack, but if anyone could, maybe Heath could.’ And he did.

“I was with [a Warner Bros.] executive and I said, ‘Are we going to make another one?’ They said yeah. I said, ‘How the hell are we going to top Heath? And he says ‘I’ll tell you how you top Heath — Johnny Depp as The Riddler and Philip Seymour Hoffman as The Penguin.’ I said, ‘S–t, they’ve done it again!’” [Laughs]

While rumors of Depp and Hoffman have been hot topics around the upcoming film for quite some time, this is the first instance of one of the film’s stars speaking about the news, as well as Caine citing an albeit unnamed WB executive.

Meanwhile, when asked if he’s spoken to Nolan about the news or the next installment’s script, Caine made mention of Nolan’s vacation, and hinted that, “No. He’s gone. He’ll come back with a script sometime."

Anyway i just wanted to talk about music. There was this article i read in Life a few days back about music. It was something about if going mainstream meant that the artist/band loses it's edge.
I've been thinking about it for a real long time. Does it really mean so? Are those underground music better than mainstream? Many people like mainstream music like pop R&B etc. But like are bands that aren't as famous or signed on a company better? Actually do bands that sign on a contract get conformed to follow a certain kinda genre or something?
Ok im just asking a bunch of stupid questions. Argh whatever.

I can't wait/hope for/that
1. The batman movie starring Johnny Depp to come out ASAP though i know they havent even started filming or any movie with Johnny Depp (he has 4 on his hand on far)
2. BLG to hurry pop by Singapore again!
3. Sec 3 EOYs to get the hell out of my life
4. Drown myself in things i like to do once exams are over
5. MiG to hurry come back to Singapore ASAP

When i grow up i wanna do something that has something to do with artists or actors, along that line. It really seems fun and you're enjoying it too. The money bit i guess ain't really that important because enjoying what you're doing for a living seems to be enough to compensate.

I wanna migrate to America, yes i know i sound random but in Singapore, i guess you really can't do much except business which is the exact opposite of what i wanna do.

I'm just being random and stuff cause my blog hasn't been updated and this was just on my mind

I WANT BOYSLIKEGIRLS TO COME BACK NOW :( I REALLY MISS THEIR CONCERT :(
