Wow, 5 days without posting. Makes my blog seem dead which is something i especially dislike. What has been holding me back from touching my laptop? COMMON TESTS! Finally Social Studies, Lit, Geog and E Math are oooouuuuutttt of me brain and I'm gonna work on Chemistry, Biology and A Math. Then the fun shall start! Beginning with friends coming over on Sat, 23rd Feb (: Sadly, it's on the same day as Fusion so some of them have to leave earlier. BOO
Thanks goodness although i neglected my com these few days, it didn't 发脾气 (: Only went on a few times but less than 30 mins each time to do something that has a relation to school.
Anyway so far the tests aren't as hard and as impossible to work on.
SS - not too bad, might just get a borderline pass but i know my SS is very weak. It's so close to history! Like i've been trying to run away from History and inferential questions all the time but it keeps finding me
Lit - wasn't anything unfamiliar, i guess the no of marks i get will be how i wrote my answer for the 2 questions. Doubt but still deep down hoping that failing this paper will stay as far away from me as possible.
Geog - Surprisingly chap 3 on Plate Tectonics wasn't tested that throroughly though i just have this bad feeling i won't score well on this one because i didn't not write enough to support my answers.
E Math - I had a friggin' scary mental block right at the beginning of the test. DO YOU KNOW HOW SCARY THAT IS! But it kinda cleared up after trying to keep cool for a while and i managed to do the whole paper. Though i realised i made a few mistakes but they aren't the careless mistakes so should be alright!
Gotta cramp Bio and Chem into me small brain tomorrow and A Math shall be taken care off by my Math Tuition Teacher! I realised i'm really relying tons on my tuition teacher cause without him explaining to me all the math stuff, i'm really lost like a single soul lost in a jungle filled of trees over yards and yards of land and i'm not exaggerating.
Today PL held the Singapore Secondary Schools Debate Championships and i was a time keeper. Priscilla was the chairperson. Held 3 debates for Ngee Ann sec vs Hua Yi sec, Serangoon sec vs Woodgrove sec and Compassvale sec vs Kuo Chuan Presbyterian sec. Cause we were suppose to be serious and 'set the mood of the room' according to that guy who gave us the briefing. Had to be really seriously and sit straight, this, of course is something really hard to me to do for over 3 hours! from 6pm till 945 pm.
And cause i'm the timer, must press this bell after a certain amount of time. Press the bell and keep hearing that 'ting' sound till you go nuts!
Funny stuff happened during the debates. One of the adjudicators actually spelt Wood
grove on the score sheet as Wood
grave. When Priscilla and I saw that we wanted to laugh so badly but we had to keep out mouths shut till the end of the debate. Hard man... i tell ya, really hard.
Then normally after announcing the results of the debate on who won by one of the adjudicators, both the opposition and proposition will shake hands. Priscilla was complainin how come both parties always will shake hands with each other but not the time keeper of chairperson and it was unfair cause we were equally important! haha. But during the last debate which ended around 9 40+, Compassvale sec shook and thanked us, same goes for Kuo Chuan sec. Priscilla and I were like laughing cause just as we were complaining they never shake our hands then they came and thanked us. LOL. I know you're thinking 'thickskin' la. But whatevs, we were so tired we just needed to add just a tinge of humour in the dead serious atmosphere.
The art trip has been 10000000000% confirmed. Heard the itenary, the places we go besides the arts programme really suck. When Ms Nair told us we're going to Avenue of Stars at Tsim Sha Tsui to watch that lazer light show, me Pea and Delane were like protesting like crazy cause we've been there, seen that and it was dead boring!
Piano exam is about a month's time! And with every passing lesson i seem to be getting worst and worst! I need help! big time! The more i practice my 3 pieces, the worst i seem to play. I really don't know what's wrong with me.

thursdayfirst day of the cny. went the usual, grandmother's place, then another grandma's place followed by my cousin's grandmother's place. we were as usual, gambling. but somehow i ended up with the same amount of money i started off with. pointless time- wasting gambling.

fridayslacked at home in the morning and afternoon then went over to my father's friend's place which was just walking distance away from my house. met up, adults caught up with each other, children just stared at blank walls. went to east coast for dinner, went back to the house to watch the last ep of shou zu which was recorded, then a lil of 881.i wanna watch finish that show! rahh. went home.
saturdayhad math tuition in the morn, went for drums in the evening. finally rafi was back! completed dance dance, which was insanely fast we had to slow it down. learning unwell by matchbow twenty next. went to suntec for dinner cause i wanted to go to popcorn pop, that movie shop to find the sweeney todd poster cause i bought my potc one from there. was super sad to find out it cost a friggin' 60 bucks! cause the person told us there weren't much posters for sweeney todd and they weren't allowed to mass print it.
but that person was clever enough to mention to my father some ppl actually buy these posters ( those you see up in the cinema size) and sell it off at a higher price next time when it was higher in value. Sooooo, my father bought it!
YAY!! AND WITH THIS FRAME TOO! total cost =180 bucks but i dont care. it's sweeney todd! that shop person also told us quite a bit abt posters like when health died, the movie that's coming soon, batman, the dark night, those posters value shot up almost immediately after news of his death. and i learnt that for indiana jones, to determine the original posters from fake, the artist who drew the poster actually have some water mark at the back! so smart right! supercool.
although my father sees this as an investment, he was telling me how he hoped depp will die soon ( naturally i got pissed) but still, the poster's sitting in my house now. and im happy. THAT'S ALL I CARE ABOUT.

today/sundaywent to church. had chinese tuition. went to my mom's friend's house for dinner. my sister played their Wii and this got my father interested in buying it cause they have this golf game that's really realistic cause you have to swing your arms like how you hold a golf club and the amount of force you use to hit it and all. it's a wonder how these jap ppl can invent this. it's just amazing.
gotta head back to school tmr.
on valentine's day, the horror begins again CTs coming to haunt us till 19th. rahh

the cny celebration in school was ______.

he's a pirate, the theme song for POTC! and everyone was telling me not to go crazy. haha. I haven't betrayed potc yeah.
went to AMK with han and lane and sheralyn to grab my cardigan. went to lido and went to ask ppl to sell their card holders to me. super disappointed cause when i asked, not that they did not wanna sell it to me but the thing is THEY DIDN'T EVEN RECEIVE IT! when i asked the lazy at the counter, she even told me " i'll have to check for stock." i mean like, WTH, that means they never give to ppl who bought 3 or more tics la! So much for their promo.
so in the end i didn't get it. so darn sad. i'm gonna find stuff of todd on ebay and buy even if it's from the states! my mommy allows me to buy 1 item (:
