YAY! Church camp was really fun (:
Going one day earlier down to Kuantan was nice. Had time to explore the hotel first. It was a nice hotel. Discovered this Malibu Pub place near the lobby which was really weird. At night, my sister, Vernon and I went down to the lobby to study while waiting for our parents to get back from buying stuff for chuch camp. the music blasted from the pub was pretty loud. 2 of us were tempted to go in. So after our parents got back, dumped out stuff in the rooms and headed in for like 5 seconds. That place is total trash. Omg. Seriously, i laughed like crazy after getting out. The only good point is that they had a billard table! The pub was playing like some bad techo remix of Halo and I'm Yours. OMG.
But the beach near it was awesome! The beach had a really really starry sky on the official first night of church camp. And the last too. Those were the best days for the nice starry sky. Quite sad i couldn't capture it with my camera.
Got to know the youths better by having cell group with them too. They're like all so super friendly and nice! Makes me feel less afraid to go up to youth and leave all my intermediate friends. The sermons on Revelations was good too, super enriching and enlightening, i didn't feel bored at all throughout the 5 sessions and the speaker was really good.
And this camp, i'm like super guai. I didn't even like crash anyone's room. Spent most of the nights going to the beach. Saw turtles, hermit crabs at the beach. Quite cute.
And on thurs when we had like about 5 hrs plus of free time, i rented a volleyball and a few of us went down to the beach to play. It was seriously fun! Never in my life had i played volleyball for like 4hrs plus straigh before. My hand hurt like mad after that, slightly swollen but it was fun.
Overall, i think this camp was fun and good! Did i mention like on the first day, my sister, Kim, Vernon and i were gving out the nametags and booklets. It was so chaotic. At first it was just a few cars and we just try to get the hang of it. We were all thinking like 'once the buses come we confirm ddiiee' cause we were already struggling with a few cars and people. We worked out a system though, made it easier. When Brit came she helped out too. When the buses came it was seriously crazy, but after we passed out all the tags and booklets, it seriously was like a sense of satisfaction kinda feeling!
Anyway here are a few pictures here and there. Will talk more about the camp with each picture. But most of the time my cam stayed in the hotel and there was like condensation on my lens when i took it out for the campfire outta my hotel room. Scared me half to death when i saw through the viewfinder that everything was so ultra foggy!

Due to the change in wind, one lantern had actually burnt and caught fire in the leaves of the forest. So we had to stop the lighting of lanterns up in the sky and burn in the campfire. Heartpain :( Cause we all spent so much time on it. Rahh.

Brit's bruise from paintball. I would never play it man! After seeing all the youths and teens getting so many bruises from it. Gloria's skin even split due to the impact. OUCH. I'll never pay to get injured
On the last night, we went to the recreation room with the mini arcade, billard table, caram(sp?) which leads to the gym as well and played caram(sp?) and tooks pics! YAY. Put my cam to good use
Visited the beach long after the campfire was over. This was what was left of all the wood. Very pretty though
